Soft Skills Program Planning and Evaluation Resources
Included below are free tools designed to assist educators with ideas and a structure for designing a soft skills development program, as seen in our professional development webinars on soft skills. They complement and enhance the topics covered in the Life Skills 25 curriculum.
The 25 soft skills in Pace’s Life Skills Program are designed as a core set of personal and interpersonal skills that enable us to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. These 25 Life Skills support improvement of all soft skills, however they might be defined – professionalism, communication, attitude, work ethic, dependability, goal orientation, and persistence, for example. For this reason, these tools can be useful for any soft skills development effort.

The Life Skills 25 curriculum provides a foundation upon which your students can grow and learn to deal more effectively with life events, academic environments, and work situations. This program is specially-designed for those in need of personal and interpersonal skills development — skills that contribute to overall social and personal adjustment and workplace skills. Development of these soft skills also affects student independence and success in academic pursuits.
Life skills development is essential for those seeking to change lives.
